Thom Chapman is a Nashville-based artist working at the intersection of art-pop, dream-pop, psych-pop, and cinematic songwriting. His work is defined by tightly constructed arrangements, immersive atmosphere, and a deliberate balance between immediacy and abstraction.
Chapman approaches visual art and sound as two sides of the same coin, developing each release as part of a larger, cohesive world. He writes, records, produces, mixes, and designs independently, extending the music into films, live environments, symbols, and visual mythology.
He has toured as a guitarist with Becca Mancari, including support dates opening for Brittany Howard, and has built additional bodies of work through Fox Grin and A Co., the latter surpassing 4 million Spotify streams.

In Deep begins as a satirical observation of party culture and gradually becomes a confessional realization: the satire may have become reality. Co-written by Thom Chapman and Ben Ringle, the song blends the warmth of โ60s folk-pop with hazy dream-pop. After the bridge, the chorus returns over a funereal progression as rising Juno arpeggios meet repeating slide guitar before the song ends on the abrupt confession: โIโm in.โ
The self-directed visual companion extends the songโs shift into an allegorical decayed Wonderland, bringing Chapmanโs songwriting, production, and visual storytelling into one interconnected work.
