PRESS & MEDIA
Thom Chapman Pairs Dreamlike Psych-Pop with a Self-Directed Dark Fairytale in “In Deep”
Arriving December 4, 2026, “In Deep” is a lush, dreamlike psychedelic art-pop single written, performed, and produced by Thom Chapman. Its accompanying music video, also conceived and directed by Chapman, follows a search for answers through a mysterious fairytale world shaped by cause, consequence, and tragic revelation.
The music’s inviting beauty contrasts with the weight of the visual story: discovery does not necessarily bring relief, and understanding cannot undo what has happened. Together, the song and film ask an unsettling question: what if finding the answers is the tragedy?
Created at Glass Lodge Studios, the project brings Chapman’s songwriting, production, and visual storytelling into one interconnected work.
