BIOGRAPHY
A song arrives first. The world follows.
Thom Chapman is a Nashville-based independent artist, songwriter, producer, guitarist, and visual creator working across psych-pop, dream pop, and art rock. His music is built from melody, atmosphere, and image — songs that open like small doors into larger rooms.
Before releasing music under his own name, Chapman developed a multidisciplinary practice shaped by visual art, touring guitar work, and years of self-recording. He has performed with artists including Becca Mancari, Boy Orbison, and Angel Snow, while also building the projects Fox Grin and A Co., the latter reaching millions of streams through its melodic instrumental work.
His solo work is created independently at Glass Lodge Studios 𓃹, where the writing, recording, production, design, and visual direction are treated as parts of the same language. The songs stand on their own, but mirrors, rabbits, ravens, clocks, and thresholds keep appearing — not as answers, but as invitations.
The aim is direct: everything is designed with purposeful intention. The songs can stand alone, but the rabbit hole goes deep if you want it to.
NOTE
The song is the threshold.
Each release begins with melody, then opens outward through image, motion, and symbol.
